Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains what SignFate does with information when you visit this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped, so it is short and plain.

The short version: SignFate has no accounts, no sign-up form and no mailing list. The only place we ask you for anything is the contact form, and we use what you send there for one purpose: to answer you.

What we do not collect

We do not run a newsletter, a members area or any kind of sign-up. There is no way to subscribe to anything here, because there is nothing to subscribe to. We do not sell, rent or trade information about visitors. We do not run third-party advertising pixels, social tracking scripts or analytics products on these pages.

The contact form

If you write to us using the form on our contact page, we receive what you typed into it: your email address, your message, and your name and subject line if you filled those in. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. It is never added to a mailing list, never used to advertise to you and never passed to anyone else.

How it travels: the message is held briefly by our hosting provider, forwarded to a mailbox on our own domain, and deleted from that holding store as soon as it has been sent on. If delivery is delayed it is discarded after 90 days at the latest. Once it is in our mailbox it sits there like any other email until we clear it out.

To stop the form being abused by bots we record the IP address a submission came from for sixty seconds, purely to refuse a second submission from the same address inside that minute. It is not stored beyond that and it is not attached to your message.

Cookies we set

SignFate sets a small number of first-party cookies. They hold single short letters, never personal information:

Neither cookie identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone. If you clear or block cookies the site still works normally.

If you are shown a cookie choice when you arrive, your answer to it is remembered in your own browser's local storage, on your device. It never leaves your browser and we never see it.

Server logs

Like any website, requests to SignFate are handled by a hosting and content-delivery provider that keeps ordinary technical logs. Those logs can include your IP address, the country the request came from, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. They are used for security, abuse prevention and basic traffic counts, and they are kept for a short period by the provider under the provider's own retention policy.

When you leave this site

Some buttons on SignFate take you to a third party's website. Those links are affiliate links, described on our affiliate disclosure page. When you follow one, you leave SignFate, and from that point the other company's privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. Affiliate links commonly pass a short tracking code and set the destination company's own cookies so that a referral can be credited. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, what third-party sites collect or how they use it. Read their policies before you enter any personal or payment details.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and you can use private browsing. Because we hold no account and no mailing list, there is nothing here to unsubscribe from and no profile to delete.

Do not sell or share my personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have. There is nothing to opt out of, because the thing you would be opting out of does not happen here. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends one. If you are in California, or anywhere else with statutory data rights, and you want that confirmed in writing or you believe our provider's logs hold information about you, write to us using the form on our contact page and we will do what we reasonably can to help.

Children

SignFate is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will replace the text on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
